This Aikawa Nanase single followed one that I thoroughly enjoyed and gave a perfect 10 review. Unfortunately this single does not continue the same quality as the last one. "Jealousy" isn't a horrible song, but I wouldn't say it's great either. It's the only one of these three tracks that made it to her following album, "FOXTROT". "Jealousy" is really just another standard Nanase fast rock track, which isn't a bad thing. Not a bad song. "yuutsu na tsuki o dakinagara" is one of her slow ones, and unfortunately not one of her good ones. I didn't like this track and I've always been really bored with it. It isn't badly performed, but I'm afraid there's just nothing to keep the attention, nothing special about the song. While the next song, "Motor Girl", may be much faster and more exciting than "yuutsu na tsuki o dakinagara", I really didn't like this one very much either, I'm afraid. The song is pretty repetitive, overly repeating the lyrics "I'm a motor girl!" too many times. Again, there's nothing great about this song. The whole "Motor Girl" premise I felt was dumb as well. I doubt that Aikawa is a member of a bike gang, or whatever image she's trying to push on herself in this song. To me, it really just comes off as a wannabe idea that doesn't exactly make sense. Again, I guess I want to stress that this song isn't horrible; just not great either. This turned out to be a pretty mediocre single, not because it was leaning toward horrible, but more because it toys with the mark of quality that we've come to expect from Aikawa Nanase. She's better than this, and her fans expect better. That's just how great her music is, generally speaking. She has released a lot of better singles than this one.
