Ichigo is your average high school student. Except that he has red hair. And he can see ghosts. Soon he meets Rukia, a shinigami, or soul reaper. When Rukia's powers get transferred to Ichigo, it spells trouble for the two of them. Let the chaos begin!
I cannot say enough things about this manga. It is fabulous! In the matter of a few pages I was hooked. The art work is beautiful (and Ichigo's shirts are a great source for some wacky Engrish). The character interactions are great. My favorite relationship is the one between Ichigo and Rukia. They are basically stuck with each other, but a bond is forming between them. I am very interested to see where this story is going!
